CLOTH, PAPER, SCISSORS

Paper, Scissors, Stone. Two sisters playing a hand game. There's something about the simplicity of that I respond to, and that I wanted to communicate in this collection. I think it also felt really apt for Toogood: scissors being Erica, stone being the landscape, and then paper our celebration of materials. " - Faye Toogood

FOREVER FASHION:
THE ART & CRAFT OF MAKING CLOTHES WITH LASTING APPEAL

“I once literally wrote the word ‘outsider’ in massive letters on the wall in my studio,” Faye Toogood recalls. “Because I have felt outside the design industry, outside the art industry, outside the fashion industry. I have never felt accepted as part of any of them, but actually, I am part of them all.”
