TOOGOOD X PORTER POP UP ISETAN SHINJUKU
TOOGOOD X PORTER YOSHIDA & CO

Toogood has joined forces with Japanese luggage company Porter Yoshida & Co. to create a collection of handmade bags.

Drawing on the collaborators’ shared principles of functionality, industry and artisanal manufacture, the range comprises two familiar Toogood designs reworked in Porter’s unique hardwearing twill, now available in new Khaki colour, lined in orange.

EDITOR BAG

The twin-strap Editor bag, designed to be worn over the shoulder or held by the handles, takes on a comforting shapeliness with a new padded silhouette in durable nylon. Carefully designed internal pockets create a secure place for everyday tools.

REPORTER STACHEL

The new Reporter satchel has a narrow book-bag silhouette with detachable cross-body strap and a zip closure. Multiple internal pockets and pouches keep belongings in their place.

GROCER BAG

Refashioned in durable black, the Grocer is an outsize clutch that subtly evokes Tokyo’s traditional randoseru backpack with its roll-top closure and capacious storage compartments.

PEDLAR BACKPACK

The new Pedlar Backpack is an extension to our exclusive range of hanmade bags with Porter & Co. This padded backpack is designed for comfort, quilted on both the front and back, with three generous horizontal padded segments.

Available exclusively at Toogood and Porter Yoshida & Co.

TOOGOOD X PORTER POP UP ISETAN SHINJUKU

These bags were re-imagined in Iron Blue versions with Toogood x Porter Tanker, exclusively shown at Isetan Shinjuku in Japan in October 2021.

First launched in 1983, the Tanker range features a three layer structure of nylon twill, polyester cotton and nylon taffeta, with a bright rescue orange lining nodding to its Us Air Force flight jacket influences.

These editions were exclusively available at Isetan Mitsukoshi.
