We're looking for an ambitious Social Media and PR Manager to join the marketing team and help drive business growth. We’re a small business so it’s essential you have a can-do attitude and be willing to dive into and own your role. The position is London based, with hybrid remote working / in the office.
Responsible for Toogood’s content strategy, development and execution across all social platforms - Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook and LinkedIn in order to:
- Raise the profile of the Toogood brand across fashion, furniture and interiors.
- Increase traffic and engagement across all platforms.
- Drive sales through Toogood’s ecommerce site.
Work with the marketing team to develop PR and VIP strategies to build awareness amongst key audiences.
Content Planning and Creation:
Responsible for creating and managing the content calendar, planning and executing our priority initiatives throughout the year.
Develop a keen awareness and knowledge of company activities and product ranges.
Create innovative and engaging visual and written content for all social channels, holistically representing the Toogood brand across all departments - furniture, homeware, interiors and clothing.
Organise production of high quality content from in-house and external shoots, ensuring best practice use of platform product attributes.
Oversee community engagement - answer DMs, comment regularly to increasing engagement in real time.
Work closely with the e-commerce manager to align marketing content with the messaging requirements for e-commerce.
Reporting and Analysis:
Responsible for setting up and managing a robust reporting structure for organic and paid KPIs, gathering actionable insights to optimise future campaigns.
Audit and analyse Toogood’s current social media presences, including digital advertising costs and returns and provide recommendations to drive growth on our e-commerce platform.
Research & Innovation:
Monitor and report on social media trends and competitor behaviour, proposing new ideas and initiatives for Toogood across all our digital channels.
Drive innovation opportunities through Social: new features and uses of existing platforms and expansion to new platforms.
Monitor and respond to customer queries, comments and social media posts.
Work with our ecommerce team to merchandise our Pinterest and Instagram shops both visually and commercially.
Manage seasonal budgets for advertising and specific social media content creation.
Manage external consultants and agencies to drive Toogood’s paid social strategy.
Commission external designers and copywriters to produce campaign assets where relevant.
Act as a brand guardian across all key performance marketing channels.
Work with the marketing team to develop a strategic PR plan, including outreach of seasonal fashion collections and product launches.
Responsible for developing VIP / ambassador initiatives, including gifting, events and collaborations.
Assist the marketing Team with recording and archiving digital and physical press coverage and co-ordinating press loans.
The Candidate Should Have:
Minimum 3 years experience of managing social media channels for a luxury brand.
Exceptional writing skills and a strong eye for design and photography.
A logical approach, and an ability to gather, analyse and incorporate data into all marketing activities.
An understanding of the competitor landscape and latest social media practises.
Experience of creating and managing paid advertising campaigns.
